After

Leonardo Da Vinci Fashion Line

I am turning into a hopeless romantic, I swear, and it's not funny.

Last night, I managed to catch Ever After, a new-aged translation of Cinderella, on Cinemax. Or was it HBO? Anyway, I have watched it once upon a time, but since Monday television wasn't exactly exciting and there was nothing else to do, I decided to stay up and watch. Besides, I thought that Drew Barrymore was incredibly witty in this movie. Adorable actually. And like how the stupid prince professed to her, it was her mouth that left him intrigued. Obviously me too.

Anyway, after watching the movie, it left me with this feeling. This feel-good feeling that only movies can have on me. It's like a high minus the weed. And I enjoyed it. If you could take a picture of me sleeping last night, I would have this huge grin on my face. Ok, for once, let's call it a smile.

I don't know exactly what I am rambling about. This is not the usual type or style of post that I would normally write about. But I felt like doing it. Even if it means there isn't a clear explanation to it. Like falling in love.

I love Feel Good movies and Drew Barrymore!!!! What I love about this movie is that the courtship was in the library - it reminds me so much of Terry and me... our courtship was spent entirely in bookstores and libraries.... in any city we're at. He even made me step into that ugly building with blue tengkolok roof in KL lol... nerdius maximus or what?

ever after is very nice, hate that stupid prince though. When i watched that movie, I was hoping that she wouldn't end up with that stupid prince. She deserves sooooo much better. Since it's a new-aged translation of Cinderella, why don't go crazy and make the ending so totally different. haha. Yeah, then it wouldn't be Cinderella la kan?

If you're a hopeless romantic, then i suggest you to watch anime Hana Yori Dango, if you're into anime la kan. Darn.. this anime is soo jiwang and good.

it's like a split moment were you suddenly transition to a new phase in life...

suddenly everything seems more beautiful...

suddenly u smile for no reason..

suddenly u feel your heart filled with warmth for no apparent reason..

dude, it's like a mat rock suddenly finds celine dion's I'm Alive catchy...

You think? Because of age? So you telling me within the next five to ten years, I won't just be a hopeless romantic, I would just be hopeless? huhuhuu...the questions. the questions...

Mangolisa :

Oh wow, what romance!!! I could imagine the verbal flirtations both of you indulged in. ;)) And hahahaha...the library with the blue tengkolok roof...oh gosh, i still owe them this George Orwell book since 1995!!! Oh well...hahahah...

Dade Ghost :

Dude, being older does not mean you can't watch movies. It's the total oppossite. A good movie to me is like reading a great novel, except it has moving pictures (which is fantastic for people who love visuals, like me). Next time I watch a movie I will bring you along...cool? :)

yeah, the people in the movies fall in love like flies. it can be so unreal, but the fantasy gives us hope that we too are rightful for the experience.

Hahahahahahah....LOVED YOUR COMMENT! Hilarious, I was laughing to the thought of me thinking Celine Dion as catchy! That will be the day!!!

Yeah, this natural feel-good high is amazing. I don't know exactly what contributed to it, but I don't care. I love it.

PS : Been listening to Destiny's Child new track "Cater 2 U" over and over again. Yeap, its official: I am a hopeless romantic...

hahaha.. in 5 years time, romantic movies to you might as well be 2 Fast 2 Furious or Taxi. Love between a man and a machine, more expensive but definitely safer than broken heart or infinite headache.

hopelessly hopeless..

highly recommend Hana Yori Dango for hopeless romantics. Try downloading it from the Net using Limewire or the easiest but not the cheapest way is to buy the boxset (18 cds) from Speedy. I think Speedy has it. Saw 1 at local vcd/dvd shop and the price is rm179.90. Talk about being robbed in a broad day light.
